| We need your help!! Online Australia Day is sponsored by the National Office
for the Information Economy (NOIE). They have invited groups of Australians to celebrate
online lifestyles, workplaces and learning places. ACCE has been sponsored by ACS to
enable you to participate.
There are two parts to the celebration for educators.
 CELEBRATION
- HELP BUILD A SNAPSHOT OF WHAT TEACHERS DO ONLINE WITH THEIR CLASSES - send a short email today. We need to publicly
demonstrate that Internet connections in teachers' lives and in classrooms of all kinds of
educational institutions are important initiatives.
DOUBLE UP - LETS
DOUBLE THE NUMBER OF TEACHERS WHO KNOW ABOUT ONLINE ACTIVITIES IN ONE DAY. Invite at least
one disconnected colleague to a cuppa and show them some Online Australia Day events. This
should double the number of 'aware' teachers is one day. Read below for ideas on what they
can see and do, while you help them.
