Welcome to the ACT History Teachers Association.

We are a group of teachers who share a love of history. We meet together on the first Wednesday of each month during term time at 4:15 pm at the Kurrajong Hotel, Nation Circuit Barton.

The ACTHTA is a non-profit organization whose aim is to enhance the teaching of history from primary to college level. We encourage best practice by providing many professional development opportunities both within the ACT and surrounding NSW and also interstate. We also mentor pre-service teachers.

Our many activities include conferences, workshops, dinners with an invitational guest speaker, and regular newsletters. For membership forms and information, see the Membership page.
