Business Plan: Bohemian Aromas Café Pty Ltd
Sophie has identified the main function of Bohemian Aromas as offering a new and exciting restaurant alternative to people dining in Civic, Canberra. Cuisine in this bohemian themed café is described as modern Australian and the café has the special feature of supporting local music and art.
High expectations for the venture are clear in the mission statement – “To provide our patrons with a combination of restaurant, bar and gallery facilities at the most exciting and popular ‘meeting place.’ Our aim is to blend class with casual and achieve Bohemian perfection.”

Business Plan: Algae Eaters
In a way Ben is into fishy business! His business, Algae Eaters, will design for clients a routine maintenance program to assure the aesthetic beauty of aquariums and to provide a healthy environment for all their fishy friends.
Offering a range of service packages, Algae Eaters has the mission to be the best mobile aquarium service in the northern beaches of Sydney area and will offer the friendliest and the most professional service of this kind at prices to suit.
Division Three Australasian Winners
Edward King and Miles Arulambalam
School: King’s College, Auckland, NZ
Business Plan: Black Blade
Black Blade is a business catering for those who use roller skates, skateboards and BMX Bikes. Edward and Miles describe it as a ‘small wheel’ park which will have a fully equipped terrain park with a variety of jumps, ramps and slopes suitable for all age and skill levels. To round off the entertainment there will be a thunderous sound system and appropriate catering options. This will be a place to come for action!
The owners see the park as serving the community by providing an affordable, top quality and entertaining road to physical well being. And they want return business.
