Australian authors and illustrators interested in visiting schools and libraries and taking part in Literature Festivals are invited to register in the Authors & Illustrators Visits Database.  Once registered, it is up to the author/illustrator to maintain the details.

1.      In the side menu select Register in the database then Register. 

2.      Fill in your personal details on the first page then click the Submit button. Note: It is important that you put in a postcode even if you put N in the other boxes as the postcode determines which state you will be listed under in a search by state.

3.      After you submit the info you will then be asked to supply information for the Author/Illustrator Details page. 

4.      After filling in the details, click on the Submit button at the bottom.  (It is up to the author/illustrator to add and maintain these details, however if you are using a Mac or have an old version of Internet Explorer that does not allow the java script, then you may contact Jenny Stubbs jstubbs@gilcom.au and have the details added manually).

5.      Once you have registered go into the Members Area, then Presentation Details.  At the bottom of this page add details in How to make a Booking.  

6.      Now go to My Availability and add in the dates that you have available for booking.  This allows for a more refined search, but can be omitted if you prefer. Locate Author/Illustrator allows people to search the database by name, state, genre and dates available if this data has been entered.   

7.      In Members Area you can go to My Resources and add links to your website and upload files that you may want the public to access.
