Welcome to the Figtree Community of Schools web page.
The Figtree Community of Schools has been active for at least the past nine years. Currently the focus of our group is to:

operate educational enrichment events for students K-12. These events have focussed on the creative and performing arts, numeracy, literacy, technology and science education, public speaking, and environmental education;

promote professional interaction between primary and secondary teachers;

improve educational opportunities for children by organising staff development activities for primary and secondary teachers; and

enhance the positive transition of Year 6 to Year 7

The support from the Wollongong District Office and the Department of Education and Training for our Community of Schools is acknowledged and is greatly appreciated.
