Project Title: Phase III Arts Syllabus Implementation
Project Description/Outline: The district has been progressing the Arts syllabus implementation since late 2002. Phase I built workforce capacity by up skilling teachers across the district in the new syllabus. Phase II saw the selection and in-servicing of key people (CASST) to act as district representatives in the rollout of the Arts Syllabus Implementation. Phase III will focus on progressing and consolidating the strategy through various Professional Development Initiatives aimed at both a Cluster and District-wide level. Furthermore, in this phase, the establishment and sustainment of professional learning communities is at the forefront.
