OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCES/PRESENTATIONS/REGIONAL SELECTIONS: 

11yrs:  2^nd  from 5 districts.  Renee Davies (Samford SS),  Julia Robinson (Ferny Grove SS) selected in the Metropolitan North Team to contest an Invitational Tournament.

12yrs:  Tied 4^th   place from 5 Districts.    Octavia Bellekens selected as a Shadow player in the Met Nth team.

RESULTS OF MATCHES

11yrs:  (3 wins, 1 loss)     vs Bramble Bay 15 v 5,  vs Pine Rivers 7 v 3 , vs City 4 v 6, vs North 7 v 6     

12 yrs: (1 Draw, 3 losses)  vs Bramble Bay 13 v 13, vs Pine Rivers 6 v 9, vs City 10 v 15, vs North 10 v 17.

WON:    11 yrs, 3 wins.  12 yrs, nil    LOST:  11 yrs lost 1 game, 12yrs lost 3 games.   DRAW: 12 yrs drew 1 game

PLACE GAINED:  11yrs:  2^nd ,  12yrs:  Tied 4^th  

RECOMMENDATIONS:  That North West continue to provide a TRS to supply a Manager for the day. The Manager was able to assist with scoring and Regional Team Selection.

GENERAL COMMENTS:  The 11 yrs team grew in confidence after taking control of their first game early in the first half. The girls continued to try their best throughout the day and rose to the occasion.

The 12 yrs team, although only having one draw and no wins, were at no time decidedly beaten.  The girls played particularly well in the second half of the games, improving their performance and creating many exciting moments in their attempts to gain back control of the game.
