Executive
in schools are at the forefront of policy formulation and its
implementation in our schools. They are in positions best placed
to facilitate the skill development of teachers, to implement
curriculum and to innovate appropriately.
In
order to support school executives and that student learning
be enhanced, the PEC aims to:
- Provide
resources to meet the needs of executive staff.
- Promote
the recognition of executive staff in schools and the wider
community.
- Establish
and maintain links with other state, national and international
organisations interested in the support and promotion of executive
staff.
- Represent
and support the interests and needs of school executive staff.
- Provide
a voice for all executive staff whereby they can express their
concerns as a single body.
- Advocate
the special needs of executive members of staff in representation
on DET committees.
