·Australian blueprint for career development Careers - General This exciting project, commissioned by the Transition from School Taskforce of the Ministerial Council on Education, Employment, Training and Youth Affairs (MCEETYA) and the Enterprise and Career Foundation (ECEF), aims to develop and test a blueprint for the development of career services and products for children, youth and adults across Australia.
·Australian Clearinghouse for Youth Studies (ACYS) Links - General The Australian Clearinghouse for Youth Studies (ACYS) provides information products and services for those working in the youth field and for anyone with an interest in youth. This includes practitioners in areas such as health and education, researchers, policy-makers, youth workers and youth service providers, as well as students and parents.
·Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER) Links - General ACER provides services to the education community,such as selection and scholarship tests for schools and universities. Most of these tests are developed and administered annually by ACER. The Special Tertiary Admissions Test (STAT) and the Cooperative Scholarship Testing Program are two of the larger assessment services delivered throughout Australia as well as The Graduate Australian Medical School Admissions Test (GAMSAT).
·Career Industry Council Australia (CICA) Links - General CICA is a unique collaboration of career practitioner associations and a world first in the careers industry. CICA provides a voice for the industry that is considered and comprehensive and in turn is a focal point for government and other organisations who may also be interested in promoting the career industry in Australia.
The Council consists of representatives of both national and state based associations and its members are Presidents or nominees of the associations. Practitioners of the member associations work across the spectrum of sectors including education, commerce, industry, government, community, rehabilitation and private practice. CICA was incorporated in 2003 and is a not for profit entity.
