| 3D Computer Modelling as a Design Teaching Tool |
| by Larry Vint |
|
Increase efficiency in the basics while breathing more life into the teaching of 3D modelling. This presentation will demonstrate the construction of 3D computer models for photo quality printing and web display, and address the skills which add realism to your model while controlling design efficiency. Topics include 3D tools, creative techniques, materials, textures, lights, shadows, reflections and 3D rendering. Demonstrations will be shown using 3D Studio Max and AutoCAD, featuring work from high school and university students.
Prerequisite: no previous work in any 3D software.
